In summary:

- Kicking has been fixed and is much easier to control
- IR has been toned down a bit so it could be only used where needed
- Play calling and character switching is done with buttons
- Wii motion-controls are easier to use
- Each player will now use a profile at all times with Mii’s
- On-screen move suggestions are in the game
- New ability to “bluff” your coach’s cam when on the field
- Telestrator is like an instant replay with the ability to draw on the screen
- For Online, Madden will be using an EA player tag
- EA messenger will be part of Madden online
- Stat-streaming will be including in Madden
