Smash Bros. Brawl Update: New Character: Lucas!

The youth with the psychic powers has appeared—it’s Lucas! He makes his anticipated debut from the Japan-only release MOTHER 3.

While he is timid in nature, he fights splendidly. Is it possible he can surpass even Ness?!

   I wonder why they traded out Ness for this guy?

   Well, Ness still might be in the game, but I think they put Lucas in because Mother 3 is HUGE in Japan. By merely having Lucas in Smash Bros. Brawl makes it even that more of a most-wanted game in Japan. And it could also mean we get Mother 3 in the States at some point.
