EDGE magazine has another interesting rumor concerning a possible Virtual Console download service for the DS. They believe that Nintendo will be releasing official flash cards for use with the DS to download Gameboy and Gameboy Color games.
This seems SO obvious for Nintendo to do, and I know that I for one would LOVE IT!!! The next DS can be just one big flash card for all I care that allows you to download all the classic handheld games. *drools* I really, really, really, hope EDGE isn’t just fooling with us about a handheld VC. Keep this one on the back-burner for now until we hear something from Nintendo.

that would be so awesome! i just checked and a SD card could fit into a DS cartridge, it would be a little tight but it fits non-the-less. Or if Nintendo decided to sell blank DS cartridges for $5-10 and you could just save your downloaded games to that! I hope that they do that!!
