Let me be clear that this is no way a confirmation, just wishful thinking. In this months EGM they had a big spread covering Street Fighter 4. In it they talk to one of the creators of Street Fighter 4, Ono. In the piece they talk about how Street Fighter has a more artistic look to it. “Like a moving painting.” The also mention that the environment has a “slightly cartoon-shaded style.” These aren’t what caught my attention though. It is what Ono had to say about what platforms Street Fighter 4 was coming to:
We’re not looking to release it on a certain platform first and use that to collect info as a beta test and tune the game we’re instead taking the opposite approach, by assessing the strengths and weaknesses of each platform and making a version to sit each platform as needed.
Could this be possible? Multiple Street Fighter 4 games across all systems, or one game playable on all three consoles? Maybe this is just wishful thinking? But in a perfect world, this would be true.

Chances are, they will come to their senses and make one formatted for the Wii. There are Millions and Millions of Wii console owners, nearly or more than double than the other systems have. They don’t have to incorporate the Wii Mote into it, i’d buy a standard controller for it because that would take away from the feel of the game for me.
Other than that, they are going to miss out on sales, but some companies release on one system, and then on another, so that they can gain that exclusive sale. Then they gain more money from the title being released on the next system finally. So that could be their tactic.

Hi how is everyone?
Anyway, I highly doubt this game will come to the Wii, why? because Miyamoto (sole creator of Nintendo) wants to aim at the casual gamers, I still hope for the game to be released on the Wii though, but it seems far off. Wii is a family based console, and Miyamoto certified himself with that, Wii wouldn’t be able to handle the graphics. I saw the videos on youtube, and the graphics looked insane, I don’t think the Wii has the hardware for this game, they would have to dumb down the graphics. But it did show much potency with Mario Galaxy and Super Smash Brothers Brawl, so I could be wrong. I still think it wont come out for Nintendo because it is a fighting game, and fighting games are violent, remember that the Wii was made for casual gamers and family fun. I seriously do not see parents buying this game for their kids, let alone seeing them play the game itself.
Maybe I’m being a pescimist or maybe I’m just not giving Nintendo credit. But after seeing the pathetic E3 2008 Nintendo Conference of newest games to come, and the release of “Wii Music” I have absolutely no faith with Nintendo to releasing hardcore games such as Street Fighter 4. Hate to burst your bubble guys, but do not act surprised if everything I said just now, comes true. But then again that is just me
thanks for reading my comment

i think its highly possible that sf4 will come to wii. go take a look at Tatsunoko vs Capcom an youll see what i mean. TvC uses very similar graphics and gameplay to sf4 so if capcom has already gone so far as to release a game with street fighter characters on the wii then im sure theyre going to release sf4 for the wii

Nah dude I still have doubts, remember that the Wii is all about using the wii-mote’s abilities. This game does not use the Wii-mote because it would be impossible to play a fighting game with that remote, I mean I just don’t see this working for the wii remote. I can see it work for the GC controller. But, if it doesnt use the Wii-mote then the chances are still off. I don’t know man it’s just that I have been so dissapointed with the Wii, and lately I have just been growing more unattached to the Wii ever since I saw the E3 2008 Nintendo Conference. There is just not enough games to satisfy my desires and certainly this year has dissapointed me very much, majority of the games are just games aimed to the casuals or family. The Wii would have so many more games if it just had enough graphics power. I so want this game but I just have alot of doubts. But don’t give up, keep your faith, we need this game and I will pray for it to come out in multiplatform
We shouldn’t give up.

I would pre-order the game if it was released on wii… already spend over $100 playing it on arcade, it would actually end up saving me money…
unfortunately, i highly doubt the graphics will be the same…wii simply doesn’t have the hardware for it…
