According to Gamereactor.com, John Woo be announcing at Comic-con NYC, two weeks from now, that he is working on the first Metroid movie. This rumor is not to far fetched, back in 2004 John Woo bought the rights to a Metroid film from Nintendo. Also The guys over at Gamereactor.com claim that they have the first trailer and movie poster, which is supposed to be showed off at Comic-con NYC. Both of them where taken on a cell phone, so he is waiting to get I higher quality one. Below is a screen show of the trailer. I guess we will have to wait 2 weeks to see if this comes true.
