According to Nintendo’s Sales and marketing VP Cammie Dunaway, ever since the Wii received its $50 price drop, sales for the newly priced $199 system have been up 85% on a weekly basis. The statement below comes from Gamasutra.com
But following the Wii’s price cut in October, the console experienced a turnaround, surging to 127,000 units per week versus 93,000 units per week in September.
I was just having this conversation earlier today. I am very curious who will come out on-top this holiday season, PS3 or Wii. Both seem to be selling very well over the weekend.
