Top Wii U games of 2012

5: Call Of Duty Black Ops 2 – The first HD Call of Duty on a Nintendo system does not disappoint. Black Ops 2 offers Nintendo fans an online FPS that they have been waiting for…let us be frank…years.

4: Nintendo Land – Nintendo Land may not be great but it does offer hours of fun. Much like Wii Sports,  Nintendo Land is a great way to show off everything the Wii U can do. Plus it is a lot of fun with all friends and family.

3: Sonic All Stars Racing: Transformed – Sonic All Stars Racing is a very solid racing game on the Wii U. The worlds that are raced in  are well-organized and visually stunning. This is a great game to hold Mario Kart Fans over.

2: ZombiU – What is there to say about ZombiU besides it could be the scariest game I have played since Resident Evil 4. ZombiU is a great start for 3rd party support on the Wii U.

1: New Super Mario Bros. U – I debated to put this game at #1. New Super Mario Bros. U may not be the top of everyone’s Wii U list but everyone enjoys this game. It would be very hard to find someone who will say they dislike this Mario installment.

ZombiU appears to be a better game then what popular reviewers say.

@AlexanderJamesBullock While I can agree that ZombiU may be a little rough around the edges, the game is doing some pretty incredible things with the Wii U.  If Ubisoft does in fact make a sequel to ZombiU, I feel like they could end up creating a gaming experience that is right up there with the original Resident Evil games.  Ubisoft did not pioneer the survival horror genre of games but they are redefining the genre and have done a great job with the first ZombiU.
