Splinter Cell: Blacklist – Transformation Trailer

Christian Mills

Ubisoft has released a new trailer for the upcoming Splinter Cell: Blacklist. The trailer shows a little more of the story and a lot of stealth killing, as with most recent Splinter Cell trailers. Ubisoft has been pushing out tons of trailers for Splinter Cell, and they don’t really reveal much about the game, but they are fun to keep the hype up. Since the game comes out on August 20th there isn’t much more time for Ubisoft to promote one of their next AAA releases. Who else is pretty excited for the next installment in the Splinter Cell series?

In Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Blacklist, players take on the role of lethal operative Sam Fisher who must stop an international terrorist group behind The Blacklist, a series of escalating attacks on US assets. Operating under the newly formed Fourth Echelon unit, Sam Fisher and his team will use any means necessary to prevent the next deadly assault.

Delivering a gripping modern-day storyline, the game brings back core elements of the franchise and incorporates a new level of technical innovation and design to create the biggest Splinter Cell to date. Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Blacklist will push the series to even greater heights by offering a complete package where single player, co-op and multiplayer are tied to a universal economy system that supports a wide variety of play styles.

Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Blacklist will be available in North America on August 20

I’m really excited about Blacklist. My first exposure to Splinter Cell was actually on a demo disc for the GameCube. I picked up Splinter Cell: Conviction when it came out but it didn’t hold my attention. Blacklist looks like it’ll bring back a lot of the stealth that was missing in Conviction.
