Nintendo’s lineup of upcoming eShop releases is here for this week, and there’s a lot to choose from, with plenty of titles across the 3DS and Wii U, as well as a new DSi app, among tempting Zelda discounts and other virtual console treats.

Check out the full list below and let us know which titles are on your download list for this week.

Wii U eShop

  • Cubemen 2 (Nnooo, €7.99 / £6.99) – a real-time action strategy game that plays across platforms in an online multiplayer extravaganza. You can create and share your own levels or enjoy those uploaded by players from a number of platforms. A promising premise on a popular game.

Wii U Virtual Console

  • Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse (Konami, €4.99 / £3.49) – the third and final NES entry of the vampiric series was released in 1992 (1990 in the US), and is one of the most highly regarded. A prequel, the game is set several centuries before the original Castlevania, with Simon Belmont’s ancestor Trevor C. Belmont taking on the undead in an action platformer with multiple paths and playable characters.
  • Gargoyle’s Quest II: The Demon Darkness (Capcom, €4.99 / £3.49) – part of the Ghosts ‘n Goblins franchise, and originally released for the NES in 1993, this is another prequel and features exploration of an overworld map with sidescrolling action sequences. This is the first appearance of this entry in a Western Virtual Console and is the US version of the game.
