Activision confirms new Call of Duty & Skylanders for 2014
Surprise! Ok, it’s not a surprise at all. CEO Bobby Kotick announced, during their Q3 presentation, that Activision plans on launching a new Call of Duty and Skylanders games in 2014.
“Despite short-term uncertainties, as we look forward to 2014, we have a very strong product pipeline. We expect multiple new releases across our major franchises, including the first Diablo III expansion, Reaper of Souls, along with the PS4 version of Diablo III and significant and exciting new content for World of Warcraft. We also expect to launch new Call of Duty and Skylanders titles and a major new potential franchise with Bungie’s Destiny.”
Being that Skylanders and Call of Duty are the top selling games for Activsion, why wouldn’t they release more games in 2014.

Always brings a little tear to my eye when the first Activision shovelware of the year is announced.

The latest COD just came out a few days ago. Then again, those games ARE one of the bestsellers for Activision, so I guess it wasn’t that surprising.
