Project Cars, a game being developed by Slightly Mad Studios, appears to be the next contender within the racing genre of video games.  I am actually a huge fan of the racing genre of games.  Growing up in a household were ‘shoot em up’ games were not allowed, I gravitated to racing.  Need For Speed was the franchise of racing games I fell in love with along with many other gamers.  The sad fact of the matter is though, EA has yet to announce that Need For Speed will be coming to the Wii U.  Oddly enough, I am fine with that.  Even though I would like to see the new and incredible looking Most Wanted on the Wii U, as long as Project Cars is still coming then I can live without Need For Speed.  Every trailer I see for Project Cars just looks simply stunning and honestly almost life-like.  I spend most of my time watching the trailer trying to determine whether or not the video I am seeing is live action or in-game animation.  The way the light reflects off of the surface of the cars is just awe inspiring.  And not to sound like a graphic junky but I really hope that the game actually looks this good and this is not just some polished up cinematic.  If Slightly Mad Studios can get Project Cars to the Wii U looking as good as it does in the trailers, then they will indefinitely have a fighter in the ring.  Let the Project Cars trailer below take your breath away as it did mine.
