Atlus confirms western release for Shin Megami Tensei V

Atlus has announced that upcoming role-playing game, Shin Megami Tensei V, will be localized and make its way to both the US and Europe upon release.

Not much is known about the latest iteration of the highly acclaimed series, which is still in development. We do know that it will be set in modern Tokyo, with a new onslaught of demons for players to face.

This will be the first Shin Megami Tensei game for the Switch, with the last few outings hitting the 3DS. The last entry in the main series came about in 2013, with spin-off Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse coming in 2016.
