About Kira C

My background in gaming started with PC games and the good old Sega Genesis. However, when it came to Nintendo, I was introduced to the GameCube and it became one of my favorite consoles. The DS Lite also holds a special place for me. I was introduced to Pure Nintendo by my good friend Trevor Gould. I look forward to putting my hobby of writing to use and playing new games.

Review: South of the Circle (Nintendo Switch)

South of the Circle reminds me of The Red Lantern and The Long Dark; the three share a wintery setting and a painterly art style. Unfortunately, in terms of gameplay, South of the Circle is less …

Review: Epic Dumpster Bear 2: He Who Bears Wins (Nintendo Switch)

Try not to take Epic Dumpster Bear 2 too seriously. It’s more of a meme and takes itself comically serious in an ironic sort of way. If you missed the …

Review: Staxel (Nintendo Switch)

Staxel is a mixture of Minecraft and Harvest Moon. To start, I’m not the biggest fan of Minecraft. Not to say it’s terrible, just that the art style, block by block building, and empty feeling …
