We reported last March on the positive sales of the Square Enix JRPG series, Bravely Default, which had sold 200,000 at the time. The title has continued to sell very well, now hitting the impressive 1 million mark.

Even more interesting is the breakdown of this figure, which shows that 60% (600,000) of sales have been made in Western regions, with 40% (400,000) in Japan.

This is fantastic news for fans of the game, and JRPGs in general, as it means that the aptly titled sequel Bravely Second is more likely to see also see a Western release.

Bravely Default was released in October 2012 in Japan, December 2013 in Europe and Australia and February 2014 in North America.

Are you one of the million owners of this game? If not, check out our glowing review from last January to help convince you.
