Coffeewithgames.com recently spoke with their representative at Activision and found that Black Ops II is only releasing on the Wii U.

Coffee with Games: “So, just to make sure, there will be no Black Ops II for the Wii or 3DS? Just for the Wii U?”

Activision Rep: “In terms of Nintendo products, Black Ops II will just be on the Wii U.“

For those of you keeping count, Activision has been releasing Call of Duty games for the past few years on both the Wii and DS.  The 3DS seems like it would be a great platform for the Call of Duty series but so far no 3DS version.  My guess is they didn’t develop a Wii version since they put Treyarch in charge of the Wii U edition instead.

What do you guys think?  Are you getting Black Ops II at the Wii U launch or were you holding out for a version on another Nintendo platform?
