Players Can Sign Up on Hudson’s Website Beginning May 27

REDWOOD CITY, CA - May 27, 2008 - Hudson Entertainment, the North
American publishing arm of Hudson Soft, today announced that
registration for both a tournament and a sweepstakes for the recently
launched galactic shooter, Star Soldier R for WiiWareT on WiiT begins
May 27, 2008 and will go through June 24, 2008, concurrent with the
contests.

For players who want to see if they can achieve the highest score in
Star Soldier R in the nation, Hudson Entertainment is hosting the
‘Star Soldier R “Shoot Now, Win Prizes Later” Tournament &
Sweepstakes’, beginning at 12 a.m. May 27, 2008 and runs through 7
p.m. on June 24, 2008. Gamers will have one month to vie for the high
score in Star Soldier R’s “5-Minute Mode” where the top players on the
ranking leaderboards have the chance to win prizes. Two rounds of
tournament prizes will be awarded based on players’ scores. To sign
up, players must register on the tournament registration page, located

WII-KLY UPDATE: TWO WIIWARE GAMES AND TWO VIRTUAL CONSOLE GAMES ADDED TO WII SHOP CHANNEL

This week’s Wii-kly Update pretty much covers the full spectrum. Maybe you’ll want to blast away with an arsenal of old-school weapons. But then again, three-day weekends are a good time to relax. So maybe you’ll take a wild road trip or settle in for some table tennis. And if you overdo it, we have a physician standing by.

Nintendo adds new and classic games to the Wii Shop Channel at 9 a.m. Pacific time every Monday. Wii™ owners with a high-speed Internet connection can redeem Wii Points™ to download the games. Wii Points can be purchased in the Wii Shop Channel or at retail outlets. This week’s new games are:

Will Tetris for WiiWare have any new features other than Mii support or online play? Maybe drag and drop play like Dr. Mario & Virus Busters?

It features a number of new rules and items. Currently, we’re tossing around the idea of using the Balance Board. The game also supports 6-Player Wi-Fi battle.
