After April 7th it will be a little more difficult to get coins from your Wii or DS game purchases on Club Nintendo if you live in North America.  Beginning April 7th post-play surveys will no longer be distributed on the North American Club Nintendo website for Wii and DS games.  Even though Nintendo is cutting the post-play surveys, they will still give gamers coins for registering their Wii or DS games and completing the registration survey on Club Nintendo.

Additionally, beginning April 7th post-play surveys for Wii U and 3DS games have a new deadline and will have to be completed 30 days after they are earned.

After news of the impending shutdown of Nintendo’s Wi-Fi services for DS and Wii in May, eliminating the post-play surveys for Wii and DS from the North American Club Nintendo website looks to be like another nudge from Nintendo to gamers who have not upgraded to a 3DS or Wii U.

Starting on April 7, 2014, any newly registered Nintendo DS or Wii games (both retail and digital copies) will continue to receive product registration surveys, but no longer be eligible for 10-coin post-play surveys. In addition, starting on April 7, the deadline to complete newly earned post-play surveys for all games will be 30 days after they are issued.
