Disappointing. I hit Platinum every year to get an exclusive item reserved for an elite fan, not something I or anyone else could just drop a few bucks on.

I too am kind of disappointed, but I kind of thought that this was coming because from what I remember Club Nintendo Platinum/gold rewards are normally offered about mid-June. I also noticed that the pickings for the rewards are not be as many.

I am totally with you guys; it meant something to be wearing a Mario Hat that you got to wear because you were a special Nintendo fan. However, how many years worth of Nintendo purchases have we made without getting a damn thing, so Dr. Luigi is better than nothing. I’ll just turn down the volume and listen to my Majora’s Mask soundtrack so I feel special :D

Yes, I agree something is better than nothing. I just hope every reward on Club Nintendo does not go to digital downloads. Not to sound like I do not appreciate the rewards.

I’m totally with you. Let’s just assume that Nintendo has been so busy working on all the great stuff that was shown at E3 this year, the Elite awards just sort of fell through the cracks. Next year I want a Reggi Amiibo!!

I agree with you guys. I’m also disappointed, but like Haku said the game offerings are better than nothing.
I’m shocked how many negative comments I’ve seen about this years awards on Twitter! I understand people are let down, but some are a little too upset.

I downloaded Game and Wario too, however I have not had a chance to play it. I agree with Justin ‘J Money’ that I hope that this does not deter people from using Club Nintendo. I mean overall it is a great program. I love the fact that I get rewarded for buying the games I love by getting something in return.

I am definitely let down to see that Elite Club Nintendo members will not be getting a physical reward. At this point I am thankful for something rather than nothing but would have much rather had the choice of the games or a physical reward. With that being said, I am having a lot of fun playing NES Remix. I hope Nintendo hears their fans and chooses to go back to giving Elite members physical rewards next year. Hopefully this change in course on Club Nintendo does not deter people from using it. I would hate to lose Club Nintendo all together.

I was bummed too, especially since I already have most of the games being offered! At least they were decent games…
