This was taken from an interview with Mr.  Miyamoto.  What do you think?

Famitsu – When will the game head to Japan? It is planned for November 12 in the US. Japanese fans would also like to know when it will be released here.

Miyamoto: In fact, we create the game so that it can be released everywhere in the world at the same time. However… as Japanese people create the game, and as we create it in Japanese… isn’t it. (laughter).

I really, really hope not.  I don’t want to be hearing reports from Japan. “Man this game is amazing!” To bad you guys can’t play it yet.”  Ok they may not be saying those exact words, but thats what the feeling would be like.
