Future thatgamecompany Game Could See A Wii U Release
thatgamecompany, developer of Flower and Journey on PS3, was taking questions from fans on Twitter and one fan asked the developer about making games for the Wii U. While thatgamecompany did not officially confirm anything, they also did not rule the Wii U out. The one thing the developer did make clear was that Flower and Journey will remain exclusive to PS3 and will not release for the Wii U.
@thatgamecompany do you plan releasing games for the wiiU e-shop?

@Lukasmeza We don't have any announced plans, but it is an option for us. :)

@ResurgenceTees @Lukasmeza #FlowerPS3 and #JournneyPS3 were funded in order to be exclusive to Sony's platforms, so they can't be on Wii U.

@Lukasmeza @ResurgenceTees Correct. Our next game won't be exclusive to any single platform, but it *could* be on one console, but open…

@Lukasmeza @ResurgenceTees …to PC, Android, iOS, Vita, 3DS, etc. We're keeping our focus on having it multi-platform.

In my experience with indie devs, they are some great people to talk with. Indie dev are some of the nicest people in the industry, in my opinion. I had a great experience recently working with the guys from Pwnee Studios.

I agree, I love chatting with indie developers. In my experience they are very enthusiastic, very genuine, and usually quite happy to share their experiences and insights in game developing.
