Nintendo’s newest account system, Nintendo Account, will soon granter users access to birthday discounts should they decide to adhere to a few conditions, according to the company’s official website (via GoNintendo).
In order for individuals to receive birthday discounts from Nintendo, he or she will have to submit the request 24 days prior to their birth date, and opt in to receiving promotional emails via Nintendo.
At this time, birthday discounts have been announced for Japan, and have yet to be announced for the West.
Nintendo Account launched last year in Japan and is considered to be an improved replacement of the recently departed Club Nintendo, which officially shut its doors last year as well.
