The latest sales data from Japan is in and this week saw only one new release on a Nintendo system, namely Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 for the Nintendo Switch. The game debuted in third position with 24,045 sales, not quite enough to beat Splatoon 2, which sold another 44,981 copies to reach second place again. Monster Hunter XX and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe also remain in the top ten this week.

In hardware, the Switch continues to dominate the chart, moving another 45,439 units. The 3DS and 2DS LL came in fourth and fifth spots respectively, with over 9000 each.
