Capcom’s latest homage to Mega Man will hit the Nintendo 3DS much later than expected.

According to Capcom, Mega Man Legacy Collection,  a title which includes Mega Man 1-6, will launch on the Nintendo 3DS in early 2016. The video game will be sold digitally for $14.99 USD and a psychical copy will retail for $29.99 USD. A release date for the Nintendo 3DS version of Mega Man Legacy Collection has yet to be announced by Capcom.

Mega Man Legacy Collection was announced in June and is being developed by Digital Eclipse Software, a development company “dedicated to not only restoring gaming’s heritage, but to preserving it and keeping it alive and available for future generations.”
