The Wii U stretch goal for Mighty No. 9 on Kickstarter was lowered from $2.5 million to $2.2 million. The Mighty No. 9 Kickstarter launched August 31st and quickly racked up enough funding to surpass the initial funding goal.  Since the Mighty No. 9 Kickstarter launched it has seemed to plateau at around $1.6 million in support from backers.  This still leaves quite a good chunk of funds to reach that $2.2 million Wii U stretch goal.  There is still plenty of time left to back the project with 26 days left in the funding campaign so all is not lost.  It would not be surprising to see Mighty No. 9 reach the $2.2 million dollar stretch goal with Keiji Inafune, one of the Mega Man creators, and his game studio Comcept developing the Mega Man look-alike, Mighty No. 9.
