Fans of Monster Hunter Tri should go online and get their fill of monster hunting in before Capcom shuts down the servers!  Capcom has announced that six weeks after the release of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate for the Wii U, the servers for the previous game for the Wii , Monster Hunter Tri, will be shut down.  April 30 is the day Capcom will be cutting off access to the servers for Tri.

“As we usher in the exciting new Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate games, we unfortunately will be transitioning off the Monster Hunter Tri servers for Wii,” Capcom said.

“With the new title, there will be a new place for all of you to gather and hunt online with each other, and we hope you will continue to play together on Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate.”
