The Grassroots Nintendo Fan Organization, StreetPass NYC, plans yet again to have another amazing video game filled romp through New York Comic-Con once again this year. “New York Comic-Con is like Christmas to geeks all over New York City and we look forward to see how Nintendo and video gaming become bigger and better this year” said Jordan White, Founder & Event Organizer of StreetPass NYC.

StreetPass NYC members and Nintendo Fans are invited every morning of the convention (and infrequently all day) to the Nintendo Booth #1510 for amazing Nintendo 3DS games such as Crashmo, Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon and Disney Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion. Nintendo of America will also have the upcoming Wii U home video game console available for public demo with games such as The Wonderful 101, Pikmin 3 and ZombiU.

On Saturday October 13th, from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM, StreetPass NYC welcomes all members of the press and Nintendo Cosplayers to the Nintendo Cosplay Gathering located next to the Paper Mario: Sticker Star Mosaic in the Level 2 South East Walkway at NC120. Jordan White of StreetPass NYC, will invite fans to gather and geek out over the new Nintendo hardware and software while wearing his now internet famous Tanooki Suit. Members of the press are invited to take quick group photos of all the Nintendo cosplayers at New York Comic-Con in one sitting so if you are a photographer or a reporter on video game culture make sure you do not miss out on this!

Other activities include a double dose of Pokemon with a Pokemon Real Life Union Room Meet Up on Friday starting at 2:00 PM with Pokemon DS NYC and Nintendo of America at the South Concourse Lobby. Bring your copy of Pokemon Black (Version 2) and White (Version 2) to battle, trade, Entralink, Feeling Check, Survey and talk about the world of Pokemon with fellow fans. Special prizes will also be handed out at this time including VIP Tickets for Pokemon Gaming Lounge at Stage 37 (508 West 37th Street) on Saturday from 12:00 Noon to 8:00pm which will include live performances from the Chicago-based band I Fight Dragons, a live stage show, a Pokémon photo booth, an opportunity to receive the mythical Pokémon Genesect for attendees who bring their Nintendo 3DS or Nintendo DS and copy of the game, hands-on time with Pokédex 3D Pro for Nintendo 3DS prior to its Nov. 8 launch and live Pokémon-themed ice sculpting. Both events do not require a New York Comic-Con badge to participate.

On Saturday from 7:00 PM until 4:30 AM in the morning, StreetPass NYC invites all fans 18 years old and up to the Super Smashed Bros Comic-Con After Party at the Amazura Concert Hall (91-12 144th Place, Jamaica, New York 11435). A whole line of professional DJ’s will assault your senses with remixed classic video game tunes as huge projectors will display the Super Smash Bros Melee Tournament. StreetPass NYC will provide on one projection screen casual Wii and Gamecube party games to try out such as Super Smash Bros Brawl, WarioWare Smooth Moves, Pac-Man VS and Soul Caliber 2 as well as Nintendo 3DS games such as Mario Kart 7, Tetris Axis and Kid Icarus: Uprising.
