Today’s Nintendo Direct highlights some of the WiiU and 3DS titles coming out this summer.  Here’s a quick summary (click on the title of a game for more info):

3DS:

Mario and Sonic at Winter Olympics

Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages/Seasons

Mario and Donkey Kong: Minis on the Move — We got some more details on puzzle building

Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D (May 24) — A reminder that we’ll be getting new content, including levels and items

Animal Crossing: New Leaf (June 9) — Nintendo will be launching a video series to help explain the game leading up to its release.  Check out the first episode at youtube.com/nintendo

StreetPass MiiPlaza and Swapnote to get some updates

WiiU:

Game and Wario — We got to look at a few of the minigames, including Fronk-throwing, puzzles, and dumpling Kung Fu.  More info at iwataasks.nintendo.com

Resident Evil: Revelations (May 21) –This 3DS title is coming to the WiiU, complete with a new difficulty and GamePad functionality

New Super Luigi U (June 20) — We get a look at Nabbit, a new playable character.  The game will also be releasing as a standalone game on August 25.

Wonderful 101 (Sept 15)

Pikmin 3 (Aug 4) — A look at the three new characters, Alph, Brittany, Charlie. Also a look at GamePad minimap functionality.
