It’s Thursday and that means it’s time to reveal the latest round of downloadable delights for the European eShop. This week brings big guns like Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle, along with plenty of other action to whet your appetite, including DLC and discounts galore.

  • Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle (Ubisoft, €59.99 / £49.99) – this intriguing mash-up was initially questionable, but is, in fact, a fun and robust turn-based strategy game. There’s plenty to do, with exploration and puzzles supplementing the battles, with a smart turn-based approach. We praised the game in our Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle review.
  • Azure Striker Gunvolt: Striker Pack (Inti Creates, €34.99 / £31.49) – this combo includes both original 3DS games and all DLC, plus enhancements like HD visuals, 60fps performance and HD Rumble.

  • League of Evil (Ratalaika Games, €7.99 / £7.19) – this retro-styled action game comes with 140 levels plus level editor for sharing creations and downloading community levels from across platforms. We’ll bring you a review soon.
  • Zed Blade (HAMSTER, €6.99 / £6.29) – a shoot ’em up where you have the choice of three craft with different speeds and customizable weaponry. Traverse the solar system to turn everything that moves into scrap metal.
  • Sky Ride (Mutan, €6.99 / £6.29) – fly through battlefields fighting various futuristic foes.

  • Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle Season Pass (Ubisoft, €19.99 / £15.99) – Initially includes some new weapons, with additional challenges and story content planned for Autumn 2017 and 2018.
  • Shantae: Half-Genie Hero – Pirate Queen’s Quest (WayForward, €9.99 / £8.99) – The story takes place just after the initial one, and will see the now-playable Risky going on a quest to find five new parts to add to the dynamo so she can rule over Sequin Land.
