With E3 happening in just over a week, we’re excited about the future of Nintendo. Today we have just a small glimpse into Nintendo’s future in the form of this week’s eShop releases, due to hit Europe this Thursday. The list may be slightly shorter than usual, but with new releases from the LEGO and Dr. Mario franchises, another Mega Man flashback, and a few tasty discounts, there’s plenty to tide us over until E3.

Wii U Virtual Console

  • Mega Man Battle Network 3 Blue & White (Capcom, €6.99 / £6.29) – this was originally released on the Game Boy Advance in 2003, and continues the RPG gameplay of its predecessors, with a few minor changes.

  • Cubemen 2 (Nnooo, €4.49 / £3.99 until 25th June, normally €7.99 / £6.99)
  • Fit Music for Wii U (O2 Games, €12.90 / £9.90 until 11th July, normally €29.99 / £24.90)
  • Luv Me Buddies Wonderland (O2 Games, €12.90 / £9.90 until 11th July, normally €29.99 / £24.90)

3DS eShop

  • Dr. Mario: Miracle Cure (Nintendo, €9.99 / £8.99) – the latest entry in the long-running Dr. Mario series brings new ways to battle pesky germs with the Miracle Cure pill, which has multiple uses that switch up a game. Other modes included with this release include Dr. Luigi, Virus Buster, multiplayer (online and local) and download play, so it’s packed with loads of ways to play.

3DS Retail Download

  • LEGO Jurassic World (€29.99 / £24.99) – the latest in a long line of LEGO games based on movies, this one ties in with the most recent Jurassic Park blockbuster, bringing the first three Jurassic Park movies along for the ride. There’s a Wii U version too, however it hasn’t been confirmed for the eShop just yet.
