As the weekend approaches, what’s new to hit the eShop in Europe? This week sees another long list of releases and discounts to tempt players, with a slight RPG theme. There’s the likes of Ever Oasis and Oceanhorn to keep you busy, and if that wasn’t enough, you can create your own adventures with RPG Maker FES.

  • Oceanhorn: Monster of Uncharted Seas (FDG Entertainment, €14.99 / £13.49) – this Zelda-inspired adventure-puzzle game comes from mobile devices, bringing with it a relatively lengthy adventure.
  • Fatal Fury 2 (HAMSTER, €6.99 / £6.29) – Another fighting game of NEO Geo origins, this one comes from 1992, and brings additions such as online leaderboards.

3DS Retail Download

  • Ever Oasis (Nintendo / Grezzo, €39.99 / £34.99) – This title blends town management with adventuring and dungeon combat from the developers behind 3DS Zelda adventures. It’s a fun adventure that’s very well crafted, as we explain in our Ever Oasis review. Note: available from 23rd June.
  • RPG Maker FES (NIS America, €39.99 / £39.99) – As the name suggests, this is a title all about creating your own RPG adventures, which can then be shared. Note: available from 23rd June.

  • Runbow Pocket (13AM Games, €13.99 / £10.99) – the portable version of 2015’s Wii U outing, this is a color-swapping, speed-running, multiplayer platforming game.
