It’s time to chase away those Monday blues with the latest round of releases due to hit the European eShop. There’s a lot on offer this week, from many scary games just in time for Halloween, to DLC, 3DS Home themes, and a plethora of discounts for your Wii U and 3DS.

Check out the full list below and let us know which games will be added to your system this week.

Wii U Retail Download

  • Project Zero: Maiden of Black Water (Nintendo / Koei Tecmo, €49.99 / £39.99 with free initial download) – This spooky game sees you wield a camera to exorcise ghosts on a haunted mountain. A chilling story involving cult rituals unfolds through notes found as you explore. We were fans of the setting and GamePad controls, though there were a few drawbacks – check out the full story in our Project Zero: Maiden of Black Water review. Prologue and first two chapters are available as a free download, available from 30th October.

We enjoyed the experience overall in our Freedom Planet review.

This is one for fans of old-fashioned jump scares.
