If you’re in Europe or Australia, you’ll know that Monday brings with it the promise of what’s to come, as the list of upcoming games for the week is announced. And this Thursday we see a nice collection of games, from a ghostly adventure in the woods to puzzle games, DLC and more.

Check out the full list below, and let us know which games will be on your playlist this week.

Wii U eShop

  • Year Walk (Simogo, £6.29 / €6.99) – this adventure game was developed by Sweden’s Simogo, and comes to the Wii U after a successful iOS and Steam release. The game tells a grim tale, full of horrifying creatures and cryptic enigmas awaiting in the dark woods of 19th century Sweden.

Wii U Virtual Console

  • Mario vs. Donkey Kong (Nintendo, £6.29 / €6.99) – Mario vs. Donkey Kong was first released on the Game Boy Advance in 2004, and pits Mario against his old adversary, with a unique twist on the platform genre that made them famous. In this first iteration of the sub-series, Donkey Kong plays the villain, who steals mini Mario clockwork toys from a factory. Mario must chase Donkey Kong through puzzles and platforms to retrieve the toys.
  • Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis (Nintendo, £8.99 / €9.99) – this sequel was originally released in 2006 for the Nintendo DS, and sees the Mini Marios take the lead. Here, you take control of the Mini Marios to rescue Pauline from a jealous Donkey Kong by guiding them through multiple mind-boggling, obstacle-filled levels.
  • Tecmo Bowl (TECMO KOEI GAMES, £3.49 / €4.99) – this 8-bit American Football game was originally released for the NES in 1989, and has never been released in Europe before, despite several US and Japanese versions on various consoles over the years. It’s a simpler game than the complex sport in real life, consisting of two passing and two running plays, making it simple for newcomers to the sport. You won’t need to be an expert to enjoy the single player, multiplayer or coaching options.
