Nintendo Planning New R&D Center
With many companies down-sizing and lowering their forecast numbers, Nintendo announces that they are opening a new R&D center for new ‘software/hardware’ development:
The R&D centre will be built on a 40,000 square foot plot of land close to the company’s headquarters. The company is said to have invested £95 million last year to secure the land, although it’s unclear when construction work is set to begin.
This new Research&Development (R&D) facility will no doubt be one of the main areas for work on new Wii/DS games, but also the eventual successor to the Wii.
