Nintendo to pay Tomita Technologies a percentage of 3DS sales
Last month a U.S. District Judge, Jed Rakoff, ruled on the behalf of Tomita Technologies on the claim Nintendo infringed on their camera patent with the Nintendo 3DS. Henceforward, Nintendo must pay 1.82 percent on the wholesale price of every 3DS sold.
Nintendo has already paid Tomita Technologies $15.1 million in damages, which was lowered in August from $30.2 million by Judge Rakoff.
