Pikmin 4 is “very close to completion.”

“It’s actually very close to completion,” Shigeru Miyamoto told Eurogamer. “Pikmin teams are always working on the next one.”

While it’s not necessarily a surprise to hear that Nintendo is working on the next installment in the Pikimin series, few probably realized how much work has actually been done.

No system has yet to be announced however. “We can confirm that Pikmin 4 is in development but that is all we can confirm at present,” said Miyamoto.

Even though I was first introduced to video games with the Atari 2600 (I feel old) it was Nintendo that turned me into a lifelong fan.
