The Pure Nintendo team has been catching up on our gaming playlists over the weekend – so much to play, so little time!

Check out our full playlist below and let us know which games you’re into right now.

  • Justin SharpThe Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword (Wii): Started this up again since it released on the Wii U Virtual Console yesterday. I know it’s a fairly divisive Zelda game amongst fans, but I really enjoy it.
  • Metroid Prime Federation Force (3DS): Also another divisive game :) Starting to notice a trend here :) I’ve been loving the game so far and it just gets me more excited for a full Metroid Prime-esque game in the future. Hopefully we’ll see Samus return on the NX.

  • 100 Classic Books (DS): I’ve been playing a lot of games recently. Sometimes it’s nice to kick back with some good books … even in digital form.
  • Armikrog (Wii U eShop): I’m a bit late with my review of this game; expect it on Monday.
  • Poncho (Wii U eShop): Check out my Poncho review for my thoughts on this recent Wii U eShop release.
  • Pinball Pulse: The Ancients Beckon (DSiWare): I was actually planning to play Metroid Prime Pinball, but I saw the icon for this game conveniently placed on my home menu. I’ve always had a soft spot for pinball, and this game is a very good representation.
  • Skunky B’s Super Slots Saga #1 (Wii U eShop): Just started playing this new release for review.

  • Fire Emblem: Fates (3DS): I’m finding myself procrastinating with this now – by which I mean I’m doing as many side quest challenges as possible instead of continuing with the story, I don’t want it to end. I’m at chapter 23 of Birthright, getting ready to face Camilla again.
  • New Super Mario Bros. 2 (3DS): I just had an itching desire to play this again over the weekend. I am a huge Mario platforming fan, and I’ve always been one to collect everything I can in each level, so collecting coins was a natural move for me. It’s not a hard game, but easy and fun to play.
  • New Super Mario Bros. Wii (Wii U VC): I decided to introduce my five-year-old son to this game, one of my favorite Mario platformers. I spent a lot of time playing this when it first came out. A LOT. It might have been simply because of Mario’s return to console platforming after a long hiatus, but this game holds a special place in the Marioverse for me. Plus the helicopter hat is now one of my fave power-ups.
  • Pokémon GO (mobile): I’m about two catches away from level 20.
