The weekend is finally here, and we’re ready for some serious game time. The Pure Nintendo team has compiled our own playlist of games we’re catching up on, but what’s been on your gaming agenda recently?

Check out our full playlist below and let us know which games you’re playing right now.

  • Paper Mario Color Splash (3DS): I’m a huge Paper Mario fan so I was super excited to get to review the newest game in the series. Im not going to give away any details just yet but I will say it has been AWESOME! So far ;D
  • Yokai Watch 2: Fleshy Souls (3DS): I’d never played the first Yokai Watch game so this was all new to me. It’s been pretty interesting so far. I like how interactive the environment is, I just wish the battle system was a little more exciting.

Trevor

  • TrevorRadiant Historia (DS): I borrowed this time-traveling RPG from a friend of mine. Only a few hours in, but really impressed so far!
  • Soul Axiom (Wii U eShop): My review will be a little later than planned, as I just beat this game the other day. It’s a long one, but is a good one? Stay tuned.

  • Gunvolt Striker 2 (3DS): Be sure to check out my Gunvolt Striker 2 review to see why I thought this was a solid improvement over the first game, an impressive feat as the first title was already a solid game.

Jemma

  • Fire Emblem: Fates (3DS): I defeated (and made amends) with my sister, Camilla, and am ready to take on the final chapter (I think?) of Birthright!
  • Pokémon GO (mobile): I’ve hit level 21, there are still shadows on my radar, I still have an urge to try to catch ’em all …
  • Psycho Pigs (3DS eShop): I had a lot more fun with this than expected, since at first it seemed like a Bomberman-lite. It’s fun and pretty crazy, with plenty of accessorizing to do, great for quick bursts of bombing action on the the go. Check out my Pyscho Pigs review for more details!
