When Nintendo President Satoru Iwata passed away earlier this year there was a petition for a Satoru Iwata amiibo that generated a lot of interest from Nintendo fans around the world.

Some fans have decided to take things to the next level, by creating an amiibo in the likeness of Mr Iwata themselves. A fan called GandaKris has done just that, advertising his custom creation on eBay for charity. Currently sitting at over US$1800 with two days to go, the proceeds of this sale will go to Child’s Play, which supports young children who are struggling with illness.
