The Star Fox animated short is now available on the Wii U eShop in the US as part of the Star Fox Zero training demo.
The free demo isn’t easy to find – you’ll have to search for it – but once you track it down, download the hefty 1,677MB demo to watch Star Fox Zero: The Battle Begins.
This special Star Fox animation, which was broadcast in April to coincide with the release of Star Fox Zero on Wii U, runs for over 14 minutes. In it, Star Fox and his crew fly in to stop Andross and his army from kidnapping General Pepper, with some top-notch animation to please any Star Fox fan.
Here’s the Star Fox Zero: The Battle Begins + Training description on the Wii U eShop:
“In this demo, enjoy the full Animated Short Movie – Star Fox Zero: The Battle Begins, then jump into training to prepare for combat! In this white-knuckle space shooter, it’ll take more than luck to master the Arwing jet, the Gyrowing flight drone, and the Landmaster tank!”
