Story of Seasons to hit Europe and Australia in January

It’s been a long time coming but the latest Harvest Moon title is finally coming to Europe and Australia.

Story of Seasons, which was released on the 3DS last February in Japan and March in the US, will now reach European shores on January 8, with Australia receiving it one day later on January 9.

Interestingly, while Story of Seasons may be a Harvest Moon title, XSEED Games have had to change the name in the West due to licensing issues. To complicate matters further, Natsume – the IP holder – will continue the series under the original brand in the West, with Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley being the most recent.

Regardless of name, we were certainly fans of the “fun, rewarding gameplay” in our Story of Seasons review.
