WII-KLY UPDATE: ONE WIIWARE GAME AND TWO VIRTUAL CONSOLE GAMES ADDED TO WII SHOP CHANNEL

The list of available games for Wii™ owners just keeps on growing as we add another trio of titles to the Wii™ Shop Channel. This week’s lineup features Old West thrills, supernatural chills and a little blue hedgehog whose name you’re sure to recognize. Thanks to Nintendo’s WiiWare™ downloadable game service and the classic-filled Virtual Console™, building your own blockbuster video game library has never been easier.
Nintendo adds new and classic games to the Wii Shop Channel at 9 a.m. Pacific time every Monday. Wii owners with a high-speed Internet connection can redeem Wii Points to download the games. Wii Points can be purchased in the Wii Shop Channel or at retail outlets. This week’s new games are:
I’m not sure why Samurai Showdown II and Mega Man aren’t on this list, but it doesn’t necessarily mean they won’t release today at 9am PST. I’ll be checking for sure once these games go live and let you know!

Tetris Party for WiiWare Coming this Fall
The latest Tetris game, Tetris Party, is coming to WiiWare this Fall. The game features online wifi multiplayer as well as Balance Board support, so looks like a promising WiiWare title! Check out the official site below.

Inventor and canine companion to join Telltale’s lineup in new episodic series, “Wallace & Gromit’s Grand Adventures”
SAN RAFAEL, CA, July 28, 2008 – Following up on last week’s announcement of Wallace & Gromit’s Grand Adventures, Telltale, Inc., the leader in interactive episodic entertainment, has released a cinematic teaser trailer and new details about the project. The upcoming game series based on Aardman Animations’ Wallace & Gromit franchise is joining Telltale’s all-star lineup, which includes the award-winning Sam & Max series and Strong Bad’s Cool Game for Attractive People, debuting soon on WiiWare and PC.

Today, Telltale announced details to Wallace & Gromit’s Grand Adventures. Based around the series by Aardman Animations, players will be able to take control of both Wallace and Gromit in the game, due “soon” for WiiWare and PC.
This may not be big news to most of you, but I love Wallace and Gromit! I will pick up this game, if it comes out, now if only I had more blocks.
