Faceez dated for Europe – Most Popular DSiware App In NA

By  •  April 8, 2010

I highlighted a section of this press release that talks about Faceez being the most “popular” download for the DSiware. You can check out what I think about that HERE.

PARIS, FRANCE – April 8th, 2010 – Neko Entertainment a leading independent video game developer and publisher is pleased to announce that Faceez its’ creative photo suite for the Nintendo DSi™ will be released on the Nintendo DSi Shop on April 9th. Designed exclusively for Nintendo DSiWare™, Faceez allows you to personalize, mix and decorate your photos with a huge range of accessories and animations that can then be shared online with friends.

“Faceez is a quirky, fun application that allows Nintendo DSi owners the power to manipulate, animate and customize the photos they capture on their DSi”, said Laurent Lichnewsky, Managing Director of Neko Entertainment, “Since the launch of Faceez in North America it has become one of the most popular paid for applications on the DSi Shop. Quite simply no other application out there gives you the ability to bring yourphoto library to life”.

Review: Faceez

By  •  March 25, 2010

Faceez is a DSiware game created by Neko entertainment which uses every aspect of the Nintendo DSi. Faceez is a simple game, you take pictures of yourself, animate it and dress them up, to share them with friends.

Before you can create your very own Faceez, you will need to take a picture. You will need to line your face up with the on screen guide; this will give you the best result with your Faceez. Once this is done, feel free to change your faceez around; add a noise, a long beard, or a top hat. You can also add animation to your faceez; make it act surprised, walk, run, do a back flip, and so much more. The last step it to add a background for your Faceez to live in. You can choose one of the generic backgrounds or use your DSi camera to take one for yourself. After you are satisfied, or just completely freaked out by your creation, you can share your faceez with a friend by sending it to Facebook our sharing between DSi’s.

NINTENDO DOWNLOAD: WHETHER AT HOME OR OUT AND ABOUT, NINTENDO’S DOWNLOADS MAKE FOR GREAT FUN

By  •  February 22, 2010
Let’s say you’re relaxing at home, but something doesn’t seem quite right. Maybe your house has ghosts. Clearly you need to get GhostSlayer, with its Wii MotionPlus™ accessory functionality, to figure out how to deal with them. Or maybe your house has a mouse. Mouse House™ puzzles seem the logical choice for you. Maybe you just need to get out of the house and try some fresh air with Family Go-Kart Racing. If it seems a bit brighter than usual outdoors, that’s probably because Aura-Aura, the star of Aura-Aura Climber™, has fallen out of the sky. While you’re out having fun, take and share some crazy pictures of your friends and family with Faceez, or spend a few relaxing hours directing flights with Flight Control™. And while you’re out there, you might want to spend some time helping a little boy recover his lost pet goldfish, Flipper.
