Top and Bottom Line Results Exceed High End of Guidance
Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. (NASDAQ:TTWO) today announced financial results for its third quarter ended July 31, 2008, which exceeded the Company’s previously issued guidance.

Net revenue for the third fiscal quarter was $433.8 million, compared to $206.4 million for the same quarter of fiscal 2007. Third quarter sales were led by the blockbuster Grand Theft Auto IV, as well as Top Spin 3 and Sid Meier’s Civilization® Revolution™.

Net income for the third quarter was $51.8 million or $0.67 per share, compared to a net loss of ($58.5) million or ($0.81) per share in the third quarter of fiscal 2007.

Attendees will arrive on the red carpet and head inside for a night of exclusive entertainment to benefit Starlight Children’s Foundation. There will be a presentation of Starlight Fun CenterTM mobile entertainment units equipped with a Wii™ system, which will be placed in New York City hospitals to brighten the lives of patients undergoing treatment. It will be followed by a silent charity auction with items from Swarovski, Yamaha, Kenneth Cole, EA and others.
