(Updated) Funky Kong announced for Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze
Today Nintendo announced a 5th character for Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. Funky Kong will be talking the place of Cranky Kong as sales manager of the items shop.
Funky Kong will join Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, Dixie Kong, Cranky Kong as they battle a group of Viking animals starting February 21st.

Well, it’s about time Funky Kong showed up. Didn’t we last see him around 6 years ago? (It’s almost 2014, and Mario Kart Wii was released in 2008.)
