360 price drop?
By now you guys have probably heard about the PS3 100 dollar price drop. Now it looks like the 360 is ready to take the drop.
Pachter said in his latest notes to investors on the forthcoming E3 Media Summit that he expects the Xbox 360 core model too fall from $299 to $249, the Xbox 360 premium model to be cut from $399 to $349, and Xbox 360 Elite model to go from $479 to $399.
At the end of the article, Pachter goes on to say that these price drop “Pressures” wont affect the Wii or DS, and sales of the two systems will remain strong through the end of the year.
Do you think that Nintendo will feel the Price drop “Pressure” with the core 360 becoming the same price as the Wii? Do you think they will give in and drop the Wii’s price 50 bucks? Or will they continue to ride the Success of the Wii, with all its sold out “Glory.” If there wont be a price drop now, When? Just something to think about tonight, or in the morning.
