Just like they have done with  few Wii games Nintendo has added a firmware update to Super Mario Land 3D. Unlike the Wii version the 3DS version adds something very interesting.

According to some Japanese reports, the firmware updates as some interesting stuff to the friend list.

– “Join the playing software” button in the bottom screen
– Quick scrolling through friend list when long pressing Left or Right (analog or digital)
– Friends that online will move to the front of queue automatically

Update:

The update also adds a modification that changes the way the 3DS place flashcards. Which one can assume is an attempt against piracy.
