The next entry in the very popular Skylanders franchise was announced earlier today. The key new feature is vehicles, for use on land, sea, and sky. Twenty new vehicles will be available.
The title characters, SuperChargers, are the new class of heroes for this entry. Combining a SuperCharger with their signature vehicle will an unlock an exclusive mod. Twenty of them will also be available.
The new entry will retail for $74.99. Backwards compatibility with 300 + Skylander toys from prior games is included. Wii U owners can play the game on September 20th, while 3DS and Wii owners will have “a different, unique adventure” – nice to see the original Wii still getting a bit of love.
