- Star Fox Guard (Nintendo, €14.99 / £12.99 or €9.99/ £9.99 for those with Star Fox Zero on the same Wii U) – an accompaniment to Star Fox Zero that demonstrates a unique use for the GamePad, this is a tower defense style of game with a twist, using 12 camera feeds to spot incoming robot intruders. - Queens Garden (Joindots, €6.99/ £5.49) – a colorful match-3 title.
- Paranautical Activity (Digerati, €9.99) – this is the German release of the game previously released for Europe. It’s a first-person shooter of procedurally-generated levels that features permadeath and hordes of enemies and bosses to fight, with upgrades to make things a bit easier..
Wii U Virtual Console
- Mario Party DS (Nintendo, €9.99/ £8.99) – hailing from 2007 comes a portable entry to the Mario Party series, offering minigames on the go. Sadly the ‘Download Play’ multiplayer option will be missing from the VC version.
- Mario Party 2 (Nintendo, €9.99/ £8.99) – this second entry in the long-running series came about in 2000 for the Nintendo 64. With improvements on the original and some unique boards, this one might be worth checking out for fans.
