Pokémon GO is set to use augmented reality (AR) to bring Pokémon into the real world for the first time.

Pokémon GO, due for launch on Android and iPhone devices sometime during 2016, will allow players to use their smartphones to catch ’em all. The ambitious project will use real locations from around the world to provide a whole new environment to find and catch wild Pokémon.

With little detail about the project available so far, we’re excited to see some screens of how the game is shaping up. Check out the images below and let us know your thoughts on the game’s progress.
