Get ready for a cyberpunk horror game that’s designed to disturb you, as Bloober Team announce they’re bringing Observer to the Nintendo Switch.
Observer is set in the year 2084. You play the role of Daniel Lazarski, an elite neural detective known as an Observer. His job entails hacking and invading the minds of suspects in order to gather evidence. Along the way, you must relive their darkest fears, and, finally, face your own.
The game presents a dystopian, cyberpunk future. If you somehow survived the Nanophage, odds are you were killed in the War. Survivors have turned to drugs, VR, and neural implants to distract themselves from the depression of reality. But they can’t hide from you – a police specialist who hacks into unstable minds to look for clues. All that dark work takes its toll, forcing you to question your own reality – and sanity.
The Switch version of Observer supports the unique features of the system, including full Joy-Con support, touchscreen, and the option to play both in docked and in handheld modes. The game features the voice talents of legendary Blade Runner actor, Rutger Hauer.
